Workshop Overview

Ovation Academy is thrilled to welcome Michael Wordly for an exclusive Triple Threat Workshop!

Michael’s work has taken him across national tours and concert stages in more than 70 countries. He’s the recipient of the Jeff Award for Best Actor in a Musical (Kinky Boots), the CC Theatre Award for Best Actor in a Musical (Ragtime), and the Henry Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical (Memphis). Known for his powerful voice and magnetic stage presence, Michael brings the same energy to the room as a teacher that he brings to the stage.

In this workshop, students will train like a true triple threat. Acting, singing, and dancing, all at once. Michael will work on vocal technique, character work, and stage presence, and share what separates a good performer from an unforgettable one.
