Workshop Overview

Actors will find clarity in Shakespeare’s language and recognize the similarities between the
themes in Shakespeare’s plays and themes found in theatre, literature, other works of art, and
the world today. This workshop will focus on breaking down Shakespeare’s language, the vocal
fitness needed to support Shakespeare’s language, and embodying Shakespeare’s characters.
The workshop concludes with a performance in which actors can show off their newfound skills.
