K CHINTHANA SOTAKOUN

K Chinthana Sotakoun (they/them) has been teaching voice for over four years. They began their professional singing career as the lead vocalist in a pop/rock cover band with their dad at age 13. Since then, they have performed internationally as part of musical theatre productions, cruise ship productions, and with other musicians on stages big and small. K is a singer/songwriter and often performs their original music at local coffee shops and other venues. K studied voice in college and is passionate about teaching singers of all levels about their instrument and anatomy. They value open communication with their students while laying a strong foundation for healthy technique and confident performance skills. K also strives to impart a sense of musicality that becomes second nature for all performers with whom they work. As an actor, they are a proud member of AEA and have appeared in hundreds of commercials, several film/TV productions, and in dozens of straight plays across their acting career. K takes profound joy in helping students find their unique journey through the craft of acting, and is passionate about guiding them to roles and abilities they may not have thought possible before.
