
ISABEL PLANA
Isabel is a Los Angeles native and a Musical Theater performer and educator. She studied dance at Alvin Ailey Dance Company in New York as well as Steps on Broadway and received training from many Broadway professionals. She has performed all over New York City including Off Broadway as well as in Radio City at the NBC Upfronts. She is a proud graduate of Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music, where she studied Musical Theater. She has acted as a guest star on Nickelodeon’s Brothers Garcia as well as Showtime’s Princess and the Barrio Boy. She has been teaching for the past 10 years with children all over the country. She is passionate about teaching the next generation of performers and wants the best for her students.
Ms. Isabel’s voice studio is based in the Belle Canto method of singing. She likes work from classical opera singing to Pop Rock vocals. She believes that if you have strong technical foundation, you can sing anything. She is passionate about her students understanding what they are singing, and believes it’s important to tell a story while you are singing.
Ms. Isabel’s Monologue coaching is based in the Misner acting technique. She will work with you on character work, memorization techniques, as well as an understanding of the material. She specializes in Shakespeare as well as contemporary works. She is super passionate about acting and loves working with young performers.
