AMY MALCOM

Amy is thrilled to be joining the Ovation team after directing A Year with Frog and Toad with JPAC where she also taught improv this past summer! She has directed and taught children’s theatre for several years and has worked with companies like Raven Theatre, Fox Valley Repertory Theatre, Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, Creede Repertory Theatre, The Viola Project along with teaching freelance theatre workshops and monologue coaching for kids for the past 10 years. Along with being an educator, she is also an actor herself! As an actor, some past theatre credits include: Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Windy City Playhouse, First Folio Theatre, Drury Lane Theatre, Midsommer Flight Theatre and Lifeline Theatre. Amy’s love of teaching all began when she toured with Missoula Children’s Theatre back in 2009. She is also a School at Steppenwolf alum and is a proud company member with Midsommer Flight. Much love to her family, Dylan and their new addition come January 2020, baby boy Malcom!
