ALEKZANDER SAYERS

Originally from Brewer, Maine, Alek was bit by the performance bug at a young age and carried that passion through to college where he received a BFA in Theatre with a focus in Acting from Barry University. While in college he worked throughout South Florida with City Theatre, Mad Cat Theatre, Project [Theatre], Verve Central, and the Naked Stage. He returned to his hometown to work at the Penobscot Theatre Company for several years before moving to Chicago in 2019. Since arriving in the windy city, he has busied himself studying improv at iO and The Annoyance and has performed with Black Lives, Black Words, The Lightbulb Factory, Dragonfly Theatre Company, and Singer Productions. He is the producer and host of A Beautiful Night in Our Neighborhood, a monthly variety panel show celebrating the amazing Chicago community.
