We are thrilled to welcome Ella to the Ovation team as our new Production Manager!✨
A recent graduate of the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University and a BRAVO and ENCORE alum, Ella has been an incredible part of Ovation for years. With her diverse background in acting, voice, and dance, she brings a deep understanding of every aspect of performance. Her exceptional organizational skills, “yes-and” attitude, and collaborative energy will raise the bar in our classes, rehearsals, and productions—enhancing the Ovation experience for our students, families, and staff.
After 3 and a half years as PM, the fantastic Miss Dacota Schwarte has decided to focus on her creative career as a director, designer, and freelance theater professional, and we wish her well in these endeavors! She will continue to be involved with Ovation shows, so you will see her around, just not as part of the office staff. We are forever grateful for all the love and creativity she has brought to Ovation, and the joy she will continue to bring to our students and staff alike! 🥹💕🤩

Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he’s handed a task — if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn’t be complete without a few twists and turns along the way…
