SUMMER MINI CAMPS
Ovation Academy musical theater mini camps are a great way to introduce kids to the magic of storytelling through dance and song, without the commitment a full summer camp requires. No memorizing lines, no complex blocking or technical elements – just the pure joy of performing!
Each mini camp lasts one week, Monday-Friday.
All mini camps culminate in a 15-minute showcase for friends and family on the last day, during camp hours.
AGES 5 – 7
BROADWAY KIDS MINI CAMP
MONDAY-FRIDAY JUNE 16-20 FROM 12:30-2:00 PM
It’s time to sing and dance! Each day, we’ll learn a selection of kid-friendly musical numbers and practice singing and dancing together to tell a story. On the final day of camp, we’ll invite our families to enjoy a 15-minute showcase!
TUITION: $155/week
AGES 8 – 11
BROADWAY DANCE INTENSIVE
MONDAY-FRIDAY JULY 28 – AUGUST 1 FROM 10:00-11:30 AM
It’s bootcamp for Broadway dancers! Learn essential body positioning, technique, and dance combos that will prepare you for any musical theater role! Learn how to pick up challenging choreography quickly, and how to use your body to tell a story and convey character.
TUITION: $155/week
AGES 12 – 17
ADVANCED DANCE INTENSIVE
MONDAY-FRIDAY JULY 28 – AUGUST 1 FROM 12:30-2:00 PM
Nail that drill team audition, get into showchoir, improve your confidence for JTF, or just spend a week building your dance skills for fun. Be ready to work hard and strive for excellence as you tackle challenging combos and master new steps.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What is a Mini Camp?
A: Unlike a full summer camp, mini camps do not involve putting on a full production with memorized lines, costumes, and technical elements. Mini camps are 1.5 hours/day, versus 3-6 hours/day for full camps. Mini camps focus on singing, dancing, and acting and serve as an age-appropriate introduction to musical theater.

Q: Can my child enroll in more than one Mini Camp this summer?
A: Yes! Each mini camp will feature different songs and dance numbers, and many different teachers.

Q: When is my child’s culminating Showcase?
A: Each Mini Camp will end with a 15-minute Showcase, open to family to attend at no cost. The Showcase will take place during the final 15 minutes of the last day of camp, and then your camper will go home with you.

Q: What songs will my child be singing?
A: Each camp will feature a different selection of kid-friendly songs from Disney musicals and other favorites.
