Mary Baca is a dynamic, Chicago-based theatrical artist whose diverse expertise spans across multiple disciplines. After earning her BFA in Production Design and Technology from Belmont University, she returned to Chicago, where her career has flourished through a wide range of roles across the Chicago-land area. In her almost 5 years with Ovation, her experience has varied between Sound Designer and Mixer, Costume Designer, Set Designer, Director, and Choreographer for over 15 productions. She loves being part of this community and being able to help provide a safe and encouraging environment where students can find their confidence and identity through their love of theater.
