EMMI BILLS

Emmi Bills (she/her) is a multi-faceted artist specializing in acting, singing, puppetry, and visual arts.  She studied at the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA, and earned a BFA in Musical Theatre in 2015.  Her favorite onstage roles include Sandra Bloom in Big Fish, Patsy Cline in Always… Patsy Cline, Electra in Gypsy, and Mrs. Pearce in My Fair Lady, under the direction of Tony Award Winner, Tony Walton.  She also spent a year touring with Madcap Puppets, enchanting kids and families across the Midwest with original Muppet-style puppet shows.  While on tour, she also led puppet-building and puppetry workshops, fostering creativity and imagination in students while sharing her love for this fun and transformative art form.  Her coaching and teaching experience includes facilitating summer camps and workshops with companies such as Young People’s Theatre of Ann Arbor, The Encore Musical Theatre Company, Latvian Center Garezers, and The Carnegie Science Center.
 
 
In addition to her work onstage and in the classroom, Emmi is a visual artist, exploring digital illustration, painting, and quilting.  She also has a costuming, stitching, and wardrobe supervision background, collaborating with theatres such as The Pittsburgh Playhouse, PICT Classic Theatre, West Virginia Public Theatre, and Young People’s Theatre of Ann Arbor.  You can find her online at www.emmibills.com.
