SERENA POMERANTZ

Serena Pomerantz comes to Ovation with over a decade of experience teaching. Prior to moving to Chicago in 2011, she lived in NYC where she also taught students and performed throughout the city. She loves working with students of all ages to help them achieve their goals in a nurturing and constructive way. As a performer, her more recent credits include: the Chicago and Philadelphia productions of Tony N’ Tina’s Wedding (Marina), Little Women (Beth), Two Gentlemen of Verona (Silvia), The Comedy of Errors (Dromio of Syracuse), Pirates of Penzance aboard the Tall Ship Windy at Navy Pier, and numerous solo cabarets and concerts throughout Chicago. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from the University of the Arts and is a proud alumnus of Interlochen Arts Camp. She’s excited to share her passion and knowledge of musical theater with everyone at Ovation!
