Lindsey Marie Wells is an accomplished singer, actress, writer, music director, and voice instructor. Lindsey recently performed as Maria in The Sound of Music (Guardian Angel Players).

Prior to moving to Chicago in 2022, Lindsey earned her M.M. in Vocal Performance (NYU Steinhardt). She has studied and performed a wide variety of roles from the operatic and musical theatre repertoire, including Susanna (Le nozzle di Figaro), Norina (Don Pasquale), Micäela (Carmen), Papagena (Die Zauberflöte), Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro), Sister Sophia (The Sound of Music), Hodel (Fiddler on the Roof), Babette (Beauty and the Beast), Schwartzy (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), and many others.

Lindsey also enjoys singing pop covers of artists like Taylor Swift, Karen Carpenter, Celine Dion, ABBA, The Chicks, and more. She credits her ability to sing in so many different styles to her long-term study of Blaylock Vocal Method (16+ years). She is passionate about passing this legacy of exceptional training on to her voice students.

Prior to COVID, Lindsey spent three years in New York City, where she performed at Carnegie Hall eight times and counting. She holds an MM in Vocal Performance (NYU), an MBA in Marketing (Central Michigan University), and a BFA in Music Theatre (Elon University). Follow Lindsey on Instagram: @lindseymariewells.
