Arin Mulvaney

ARIN MULVANEY

Arin Mulvaney (she/her) started acting at age 7 and became interested in Shakespeare at age 13 when she portrayed one of the sprites in The Tempest, and her infatuation with the Bard has been growing ever since. As a high school student, Arin toured with the Kalamazoo Civic Repertory Company performing abridged Shakespeare plays for middle and high school audiences. She has performed in over thirty Shakespearean productions as well as musicals and two internationally acclaimed independent films.  Favorite Shakespearean roles include Kate, Beatrice, Desdemona, Juliet, Adriana, Nurse, Rosencranz, and Puck.

Over the past 20+ years, Arin has taught a variety of drama workshops for students ages 5+ and served as the Assistant Director of the Kalamazoo Civic Youth Theatre Drama Camp for two summers.  She is especially grateful for the opportunity to work with actors with disabilities at the Chase Park Special Rec Program, Ray Graham High School, and ABLE Ensemble.

Arin completed an intensive Classical Theatre Study Abroad program in Greece through the University of Detroit-Mercy and performed there as Helen of Troy in Trojan Women. She graduated with honors from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Theatre Performance.
