DERRICK ROSSBACH

Derrick Rossbach is a performer and choreographer raised in Oak Park Illinois. His training began under Stephanie Clemens at the Academy of Movement and Music. There he trained in the styles of Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Graham, and Improvisation. After his studies and performing at the Academy’s MOMENTA company, he moved on to further his education in dance at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign where he earned his BFA in Dance. There he studied Ballet, Jazz Funk, Contemporary, Mfundali, Limon, and West African Diaspora. Derrick is a very energetic instructor and loves to see his students thrive, create, and learn. He is very excited to be joining the BRAVO and OVATION staff this upcoming fall.
